Summary

R.A. Bell teamed up with the Victoria State Emergency Service to successfully roll out Medium Rescue Trucks to units across Victoria.Equipping communities with newly built vehicles was a part of an ongoing program funded by the Victorian Government. The Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program (VESEP) provides local emergency services volunteer groups with the grants for vehicles and equipment. The Medium Rescue carries rescue equipment and personnelto emergency rescue and storm events.

Cab Chassis : Isuzu NPS 75 4×4 Crew Cab Chassis

GVM : 7,500kg

Body : Fabricated sub frame and an aluminium extrusion body, lockers and stowage devices to store and transportsupport equipment to incidents

240V Generator : 8KVA system with 8 GPO’s for equipment use

Air reticulation : Peerless air compressor with a 20m hose reel and 3 outlets located around the body

Electrical : Hazard systems light bar and LED’s, Standard SES radio system with PA, siren amplifier and a 6.5m Fireco telescopic light mast with 4x 100W LED’s
