Summary

R.A. Bell teamed up with the South Australia Metropolitan Fire Service to introduce the Heavy Rescue Unit to the fleet of vehicles, to improve its overall capacity for response to major rescue events The Heavy Rescue Truck carries a full complement of equipment and personnel to emergency Rescue events.

Body : Fabricated steel sub-frame and an aluminium extrusion body, aluminium roller shutters, drawers, shadow boards, shelves and other stowage devices to store and transport support equipment to incidents.

Electrical : Class 1 system, red and blue beacons and LEDs, Standard SES radio system with PA, siren amplifier, 15000lb winch and a 4m remote operated Fireco telescopic tilt and turn light mast with 4x 100W LEDs
